I hope you all had a great week and enjoyed all the smokey air!  

Just wanted to send a quick follow-up to last week’s update: 

·       We are at the one-yard line with regard to contracting with a new water management company. The expectation is the contract will be signed early next week. 

·       The lake continues to be tested weekly. All the pertinent testing has the lake at the appropriate levels. So for all those non-water quality experts, allow me to translate…. It may not look pretty but it is safe and swimmable. 

·       The paperwork to break our contract with Solitude, our current lake management company, has been drawn up by our attorney and will be sent as soon as our new vendor is secured. 

·       The boards are going in today to raise the lake to the summer level. This will not happen overnight, as we will need a good storm to assist in the process.
