Great People of Packanack….

IT IS TIME TO REJOICE!

·       Packanack Lake signed an agreement with Black Lagoon to be our new water management partner. 

·       They are on site TODAY and currently treating both beaches and the swim lanes. A brief summary of their report:

·       They treated the swim team area and both beaches with chelated copper for algae, with some Tribune to address the aquatic plant growth. No restrictions on using those areas. They said we will see results in 5-7 days. They can treat those areas again in 2 weeks. They said the water clarity is pretty good.

 ·       We are still a couple of weeks out from them being able to service the entire lake, as Black Lagoon needs their permits to be approved by the state. They will do everything they can without a permit to service the lake during this time frame.
