2. NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT

The Nominating Committee of Terese Besso, Ray Egatz, Mark Granstrand and Paul Pizio hereby put forth Christine Hietanen and Mike Sansone for election to the Board of Governors:

CHRISTINE HIETANEN

My name is Christine Hietanen, and I am submitting this biography for your consideration to serve as a member of the Packanack Lake Board of Governors. As a life-long Packanacker, I am deeply rooted in the Packanack Lake community and appreciate all of the amenities it offers. My parents—Pete and Cathy Conerly—moved to Packanack Lake in 1977 and still reside in my childhood home on Oakwood Drive. Along with my brothers, Patrick and Ryan, I attended Packanack Lake Elementary School, George Washington Middle School, and Wayne Valley High School. Over the years, my family participated in all things Packanack: swim team, sailing, lifeguarding, softball, tennis, and golf. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and master’s degrees from William Paterson University. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a recruiter before transitioning to a career in education. For twelve years, I taught high school English before serving in my current role as District Supervisor of Instruction for Hanover Park Regional High School District. My husband Sean and I have two children— a fifteen-year-old son who is a sophomore at PCTI and an eleven-year-old daughter who is in sixth grade at GW. As active community members, we have continued to participate in Packanack events, lake activities, and PLAA athletics. As a member of the Board of Governors, I look forward to contributing to the overall success of our wonderful lake community.

MIKE SANSONE

I have lived in Packanack Lake for almost 6 years with my wife, 2 boys (10 and 5) and our dog Murray (14).  I received a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac University and I am a CPA with 20+ years of public and private accounting and finance experience. In the past year I have made a career change.  I am now a senior systems implementation consultant responsible for implementing accounting and finance systems for companies ranging from mom and pop to multinational manufacturing companies. My family and I have been active in many lake activities over years.  Our favorites so far have been PLCA soccer, scouts and the new Open Mic nights put on by the mothers club.  I am very much looking forward to giving back to the lake community.  Given my finance and systems implementation background, I believe I would be a great fit for the Board of Governors and look forward to contributing to the growth of our community.
