A Message from the Golf Club:

Dear PLCA Members,

There has been an escalation in the use of E-bikes, mini-bikes and motorized bikes/motorcycles in Packanack and on PLCA property, and more specifically on the fairways, greens, tee boxes and bunkers at Packanack Golf Club.

This is a reminder that Packanack Golf Club and all of its grounds are private property.  Recently, there has been trespassing and damage to the Golf Club grounds by children of lake members and individuals riding their E-bikes, mountain bikes and motorcycles. This email is a reminder that use of that property is for members of the Golf Club and their guests only.

Further to that, trespassing includes walking or riding across the Golf Club, on any of the cart paths or any other parts of the club.  In addition, the pipeline is not a public access right of way and its use is also considered trespassing.

The recent rise of incidents has led the Golf Club to involve the Wayne Police Department, and the installation of security measures on the course due to the damage from these offenses. This e-mail is a reminder to share with your family members that the Golf Club is not a public park, and going on the property on bikes, motorized or other, is prohibited.   The Golf Club and PLCA are asking for your help to deter and stop these incidents.

We live in a beautiful neighborhood and with spring in the air, the desire to be outdoors is upon us.  The Golf Club hopes that we can address this issue through communication. However, we will pursue additional remedies if these incidents continue.

Please respect the private property of the Golf Club, as well as the other PLCA grounds around our lake.
