AGENDA OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE CLASS “A” MEMBERS OF PACKANACK LAKE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

To All Class “A” Members:

The annual General Membership Meeting of the Packanack Lake Community

Association will be called to order promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday,

October 8, 2025 at the Clubhouse. Class “A” members will be admitted

with their 2025 membership cards. Spouses of Class “A” members

may exercise the Class “A” vote if they present the Class “A” card.

The agenda will include the following:

NOMINATING COMMITTEE REPORT

PLCA ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, OCTOBER 2025

The Nominating Committee of Terese Besso, Ray Egatz, Mark Granstrand, Paul Pizio and David Bowie, hereby put forth David Bowie and Joe Okaly for re-election to the Board of Governors.

DAVID BOWIE

Board of Governors Candidate – Packanack Lake

David has been a proud resident of Packanack Lake for 8 years, actively involved in fostering the strong sense of community that makes the neighborhood unique.

Throughout his time at the lake, David has had served one term on the Board of Governors. He is passionate about preserving the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of Packanack Lake, while also ensuring that the community continues to thrive as a welcoming, safe, and family-friendly environment.

As a member of the Board of Governors, David will focus on maintaining and supporting community programs and engagement, improving facilities, protecting the lake environment, and strengthening communication between residents and the board.

Committed to collaboration, fairness, and long-term sustainability, David looks forward to serving the Packanack Lake community with integrity and dedication.

JOE OKALY:

Joe Okaly grew up in the lake communities of Denville, and has resided at the end of Sleepy Hollow Drive for over 10 years with his wife Lauren, and now kids Avery (8) and Noah (5). Joe is a Certified Financial Planner®, owner of New Horizons Wealth Management, author of “The Financial Pinwheel”, and has a podcast, Enjoy More 30s: Family Finance. He was also recently announced as a TEDx speaker for 2026 in Eustis, FL. 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with the family around Packanack, and anything to do with gardening, flowers, and trees. If you see him around the lake, he is likely pointing out a type of tree to his less than enthused family!
