As dredging efforts continue, the Township and its contractor are making steady progress. A temporary dam is being installed to allow water to be pumped out of the lake’s fingers. This will enable an excavator to access those areas directly and complete the dredging work more efficiently.
With this phase of the project underway, we have now lowered the lake to its winter level. This process had been delayed slightly to accommodate the dredging schedule, but it is now completed.
It is expected that the dredging of the fingers will be completed before winter.
