Hello PLCA Community,

We are so grateful for the enthusiasm and positive feedback surrounding our plastic film recycling program. It’s clear how much this initiative means to our community, and we love seeing the shared commitment to reducing waste together.

That said, we need to be transparent: we are in need of more volunteers to help weigh and transport the plastic film. Some weeks we receive up to 50 pounds, and at this time, the responsibility continues to fall on the same small group of dedicated volunteers.

To those who consistently sign up and show up—thank you. Your time, effort, and reliability are truly appreciated, and this program would not exist without you.

Unfortunately, without additional volunteer support, we will not be able to continue running the program. We want this to be a shared effort, and we truly hope more community members will step forward to help carry the load.
