There has been increased use of mini bikes, e-bikes, motorized scooters and motorcycles on Packanack Lake property. Riding across the dam and footbridges on any such vehicle is dangerous for both the rider and pedestrians. PLCA’s rules prohibit use of these vehicles on PLCA property. Members are asked to ensure that their children and guests adhere to PLCA’s rules.

Thank you! My wife, son, and I nearly got run over on one of the footbridges while we were out for a walk the other day by two boys speeding across. They seemed to think it was humorous to boot. There was another incident last week with two boys (might have even been the same two) racing down one of the streets on the East side and they were skidding their tires right next to us. Hopefully the growing trend can somehow be subdued; the mass email sent out is a great start.
