This is a friendly reminder that clean-up day is tomorrow, October 3. The gate to the West Beach will be open, with a box of trash bags and a case of water available to all inside the gate. Please use the two dumpsters for whatever bags you fill. If you need to leave anything on site for maintenance to pick up on Monday, please let Cathy Murphy know (in the office) (973) 694-0094. If you need access to any areas that aren’t open, Cathy and Dan Corcoran can help with that as well.

In case of bad weather or scheduling conflicts, please feel free to do this on your own schedule. All help is truly appreciated!

CLEAN UP DAY IS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3

The Annual Packanack Lake Clean Up Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Due to COVID-19, the normal May Clean Up Day was not held. Hopefully, clubs can now participate and spend some time outdoors, while social distancing and taking COVID-19 safety precautions.  Unlike normal years, due to COVID-19, refreshments will not be provided in the clubhouse, but water bottles will be provided out front.  Garbage bags will be available at the West Beach entrance.

Each of the clubs has been assigned an area.  If you are not a member of a club, you are welcome to join in the litter clean up along the dam. Thank you in advance for your help!

If clubs are not available on October 3, or in case of bad weather that day,  clubs are welcome to work on their areas any other date that works for them.

Anglers:  Dam on both sides and shoreline from boats.

BBQ: West Beach.

Boy Scouts/Sea Scouts: Peninsula and East and West fingers.

Cub Scouts: East Beach.

Players/Youth Club: Basketball court next to East Beach and surrounding grounds.

Children’s Theater/Girl Scouts: Hess Field litter clean up.

Garden Club/Book Club: Clubhouse garden and triangle at Brookwood.

Pack-A-News: Photography and publicity.

Golf Club: Golf Club.

Leisure Club/Fitness:  Take a walk along Lake Drive East or Lake Drive West for litter clean up.

Mothers Club: Carney Park Playground.

PLAA: Kilroy Field and parking lot/batting cage and basketball court.

Swim Team: Swim team area on the West Beach.

Tennis Club: Tennis courts and tennis club grounds.

UGP:  Provide water bottles in front of clubhouse.

Yacht Club: East and West Yacht basins.
