Dear PLCA Membership,

The replacement recommendation vote for the peninsula footbridges took place at the annual meeting on Wednesday, September 30. The Links Bridges fiberglass replacement option vote was 107 yes, 12 no, 1 abstain. With the vote approved, we have begun the process of finalizing the contract with Links Bridges, as well as procuring the proper permits for the construction. We estimate the new bridges could be in place by the spring — depending on the production schedule for Links Bridges.

As additional information is acquired, the subcommittee will notify the membership.
